Azure Beauty, 58 South Molton Street
Tucked away on South Molton Street, Azure Beauty has a discreet access and is located in what has been described by Harper’s Bazaar as a House of Experts– with a wide range of therapies being available under one roof.
What/Who is Azure Beauty?
Jenna & Katharine founded Azure Beauty in 2014; after both having worked in the beauty industry for over a decade. They met whilst both employed at the once beauty institute of Mayfair, Spa Illuminata at South Audley Street.
Azure Beauty offer a full range of treatments, Carita facials, Carita body treatments, Decleor facials, Decleor body treatments, massages, pregnancy pampering, nail treatments, tinting/hair removal and make-up.
When Katherine & Jenna contacted me and invited me to visit them for a treatment, I was deeply flattered, I always am when such requests come in.
My visit to Azure Beauty was to be my first experience of a facial– my reason being age… I follow my own routine, which I have always been quite happy with: combined with the intent to frown less!
The treatment- Carita Genesis of Youth
1hr 30mins, £140
I already had youth on my side, so was quite interested to see the benefits I would reap.
This is a two-part treatment and the treatment began with a deep cleanse and exfoliation, then followed by a massage of the face and neck- already at this point I was in Carita heaven.
The mystery of why the women around me praise their monthly facials was beginning to come to me.
Now, part two of the treatment sounds a ‘little’ scary.. CLE gloves.. Jenna was rather interested to see how I would react to this given my infancy in the world of facials.
CLE gloves aka Cinetic Lift Gloves; are one of the new alternatives to cosmetic surgery and are the world’s first ever combination of micro-currents, ultrasounds and LED futuristic technologies resulting in immediate visible results.
The micro-currents help correct and stimulate the skin, the ultra sound waves produce vibrations and optimise the micro-currents- its a little like an electric shock. I found it strangely comforting. The LED’s are then used to purify, brighten and regenerate the skin.
That might all sound a little intimidating, should we really be sending micro-currents, ultrasound and LED light through our skin, our face?!
My opinion
My personal opinion, absolutely, I was and still am genuinely pleasantly surprised with the outcome; my skin immediately felt uplifted.
The following morning, my cheekbone area was a little tender, but, it felt good and I liked being able to ‘feel’ the results.
For up to a week after the treatment, I was complimented on my ‘glow’- which was given the stressful time I was going through, was welcomed!
Jenna really could not have made me feel more comfortable, taking time to talk about my skin routine and preferences prior to the treatment and talking me through each step.
Carita goodies
Jenna kindly sent me home with some Carita goodies to sample, what a treat! My favourites were from the Coton de Creme & Lagoon ranges. All of which are available to purchase at Azure Beauty.
Would I return?
The team at Azure have been trained to the highest standards and are so very passionate about the products that they use, which is always refreshing.
I discussed with Jenna how frequently I should visits for a facial, 3/4 times.
Remember, it is important to invest in our appearance, however, it is also important to be balanced.
I could not recommended Azure highly enough, so if you are looking for that perfect Summer pick me-up, birthday treat, or possibly the best facial in Mayfair, then head on down to Azure.
