Fly Fishing with Orvis
When it comes to fly fishing Orvis wrote the book on it, but, they have, many in fact.
When the lovely Zambuni PR reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in a fly fishing afternoon in Green Park, by way of introduction to Orvis, I jumped at the offer.
We started the afternoon with drinks and nibbles at the Orvis store on Lower Regent Street- a fabulously central location and only moments from South Mayfair.
Fly fishing ‘equipment’ in-hand we strolled down to Green Park along Piccadilly. Upon arrival we took in the view.. It is a view..
The session was taught in two parts, we learnt the important basics and were tutored so well by the Orvis team.. I fell for them hook line and sinker 😉
Here is another picture of me in action.. look at that concentration!
The purpose of the afternoon was to celebrate their birthday and to further enhance the awareness Orvis brand. In particular, the all-encompassing store on Lower Regent Street- it really is a one stop shop for all things Fly Fishing and much more. This is the store to visit in central London, beginner to expert; and weather permitting the staff are quite happy to walk you to Green Park to test-out rods or have a mini-lesson.

Thank-you to Zambuni & Orvis for inviting me; I can’t wait to fly-fish on a river one day..
