Today, I had a lovely lunch meeting in the basement of Fortnum & Mason, The Wine Bar. Formerly, 1707.
I know, its not Mayfair, but, its super close!
A perfect setting for an open sandwich & a glass of wine- always a winner and I always walk out with a smile on my face.
I enjoyed the Goat’s Cheese, Beetroot & Walnut tartine and a glass of Bourgogne Blanc. My dining companion enjoyed the Potted Shrimps and a glass of Pinot Blanc. Both wines from the F&M label. One can even purchase a bottle from the Food Hall and enjoy in the bar, with a corkage fee.
