Spring terraces without the membership

Monday, April 3, 2017

Hurrah, spring is finally here..in typical British style, lunch was enjoyed in the sun yesterday.

Mayfair has many a hidden gem alfresco spots that don’t require a private club membership.

It might not be the garden at The Arts Club or the terrace at Harry’s Bar (pictured), however, the roof at The Windmill on Mill Street has consistently good service, a brilliant wine list and most importantly a sun trap.. perfect for catching up with friends, business lunches and long weekend lunches..

We also love the following..

Jak’s, South Molton Street, a sun trap throughout the day…

Roka, North Audley Street, for sushi in the sun

28-50 Wine Bar and Kitchen, Maddox Street, lunches and post-work drinks

Duke Street Emporium,Fernandez and Wells, Duke Street, breakfast through to early evening drinks

Swallow Street, from Bentley’s to Gaucho, a crowd pleaser.

Shepherd Market– from Sofra to Le Boudin Blanc to Kitty Fishers to Al Hamra. The market has it all, breakfast through to dinner.
