Sometimes it’s easy to forget the importance of taking a bit of time just for yourself. Towards the end of an exhausting week of concerts and meetings, I found myself in Fortnum and Mason, scrambling through hundreds of Christmas shoppers. She escorted me across the shop floor to a secret door.

For the next hour, I relaxed for the first time in weeks. The shoulder and head massage was an added bonus which helped to relieve the serious tension in my shoulders. Despite my tiredness, my skin was fresh and glowing afterwards.

After an hour of pampering and relaxation, I reluctantly emerged into the sparkling lights of Piccadilly, wondering why the most enjoyable experiences always have to end so soon.
