British Pie Week, 5th-11th March

As it’s British Pie Week, we’re celebrating the best restaurants in Mayfair to enjoy this favourite British dish. Whether you prefer a classic steak and ale or a creamy fish pie, there’s plenty of places to visit.

Windmill Mayfair is so proud of its pies, it even has its own Pie Club and holds special events and tastings in honour of the dish. The Windmill’s seasonal pie pick is Steak and Stilton with suet pastry and gravy. Sign us up!

The steak and kidney pie served at The Guinea Grill on Bruton Place is a three-times national champion, and they also serve a steak and mushroom pie. The vegetarian pie option sounds particularly delicious: Potato and Wensleydale pie with truffle leeks and poached egg. Yum.

Can’t resist popping in to Claridge’s? Us neither. Tuck into Claridge’s Chicken Pie in The Foyer & Reading Room restaurants.

Scott’s is Mayfair’s top fish restaurant, serving seasonal seafood and fish dishes, along with meat and game. The menu often changes but we’ve got our fingers crossed that they’ll be serving a delicious fish pie to celebrate British Pie Week.
