On Saturday 30 June, Street XO will host The Mayfair Modern Art and Lunch Experience, in association with Mayfair Art Weekend, featuring a tour of some of Mayfair’s top contemporary galleries followed by lunch at StreetXO. If you fancy enjoying some delicious food while soaking up the cultural highlights from the weekend, then this is the experience for you!
The tour will be hosted by John Martin, owner of John Martin Gallery and co-founder of Art Dubai, and starts at 10am in The Academicians’ Room at The Royal Academy of Arts for refreshments before heading to Stephen Friedman Gallery for its exhibition ‘Talisman in The Age of Differences’ curated by Yinka Shonibare MBE, followed by a showing of David Nash’s sculpture at Annely Juda Fine Art. The tour will culminate at Maddox Gallery with a talk delivered by James Nicholls, Managing Director of Maddox Gallery, art critic for London Live TV and Royal Academy of Arts Patron. The art tour will conclude with an opportunity for guests to make their own prints to take home.
Guests will then head to StreetXO in Old Burlington Street to enjoy an extravagant seven-course lunch conjured up by Chef Dabiz Muñoz. For £90 per person, guests can enjoy 7 courses including StreetXO’s ‘Pekinese dumplings’ and ‘Steamed XO Club Sandwich’ followed by ‘Cheesecake ice cream’.
