The Mayfair, by Bamford London

Monday, October 22, 2018

The Mayfair commenced its life as the Bamford Watch Department, Service Watch.  After much, understandable, applause, the team developed and created what is today, now known as the Bamford Mayfair. The process was led by founder, George Bamford.

Bamford London, was founded by George Bamford, who also founded, Bamford Watch Department, with a simple founding concept, personalisation of iconic international watch brands. The Bamford Mayfair itself, available in an extensive array of bezel, coating and type of strap. The case-back is engravable.

I made use of the Mayfair watch this summer, using it for my corporate suited Mayfair meetings, weekends in the park, summer evening cocktail parties and on a business trip to Amsterdam. The watch receiving compliments at all appointments, mainly from men. I wonder whether a Mayfair Lady is on the horizon?

What I loved most about the piece though, was the rubber strap, I have always been fond of them; the pop of bezel colour effortlessly updated each outfit; as well as keeping me on time.
