Thursday 8th March is International Women’s Day – a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievement of women. The day has been marked for over a century, but has gained increased popularity and attention in recent years. This week (7-11th March), Southbank Centre will be holding its annual Women of the World festival.

TG Foundation in association with Mews of Mayfair will be hosting their 10th Anniversary and International Women’s Day Event. TG Foundation helps victims of sexual violence in Congo and the event will highlight the projects that it has supported in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the charity’s achievements to date, and grassroots organisations in the Congo that they will be funding in the future.
