On Saturday 9th June, you’ll be pleased to know we all have an excuse to drink a large Gin & Tonic as it’s World Gin Day!
Here’s a selection of recommendations from some of Mayfair’s top gin emporiums…
Coburg Bar at The Connaught – There’s wonderful selection of gins to choose from at the Coburg Bar. See below for their very own Gin Champagne Cocktail recipe…
The Chesterfield – At 7.15pm, The Chesterfield’s Terrace Bar comes to life with Gin and Jazz. Indulge in a gin cocktail and enjoy the sounds of the live jazz band.
Hush – Do you like your gin served with cake and sandwiches? Treat yourself to a Gin & Jam afternoon tea in the cute cobbled courtyard at Hush.
Sabor – Heddon Street’s hottest new restaurant also has a bar where you can enjoy Andalusian tapas and sample their incredible selection of Spanish gins. Our favourite is Gin Mare, which is made in Cataluña.
Dickie’s Bar at Corrigan’s – Try the Fourth Marquess cocktail made with Tanqueray Gin, Sherry, St Germain, Green tea and lemongrass or the Gin & Fennel Highball.
It’s not Mayfair but…
The Botanical Gin Garden at The Wigmore is open all summer long, serving delicious cocktails by Plymouth Gin. We love the sound of the refreshing Plymouth Fruit Cup and ginger ale garnished with summer fruits, cucumber and mint… yum!
Gin and Tonic….How do you drink yours? Try it with cucumber for a refreshing twist.
Especially for World Gin Day… Make your own Gin cocktail, with this special recipe courtesy of The Coburg Bar:
