RA’s 250th Summer Exhibition

Wednesday, June 13, 2018

The 250th annual Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts is now open. This year’s exhibition is coordinated by Grayson Perry RA and celebrates “art made now”.

As usual, the RA gallery’s are packed with an explosion of contemporary art, which is especially colourful this year in the hands of Grayson Perry, incorporating over 1,300 artworks. To celebrate the 250 years of the RA, there’s a special exhibition The Great Spectacle: 250 Years of the Summer Exhibition which tells the story of the world’s longest running annual display of contemporary art.

If you haven’t visited the RA’s new galleries yet, then make sure that when you pop in for the Summer Exhibition, you also have a look round Tacita Dean’s exhibition Landscape in the newly-opened Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler Galleries, which runs until 12 August 2018.

Further information is available on the RA Website.
