Hideaway opened its doors in Burlington Arcade in the winter of 2018. The concept from restaurant Hide on Piccadilly and Hedonism Wines on Davies Street.
This quaint little café is exactly what Burlington Arcade needs to encourage a little dwelling time in the arcade – I don’t know about you, but, I always seem to power walk through (taking in the windows with glance).
Open the full hours of the arcade, it is the perfect spot for indulgent breakfasts, fabulous tea-meets and the afternoon indulgence of wine. They even have fresh bed baked daily from the Hide, pastries done right and preserves as well as wines to take home.
When the menu is from Ollie Dabbous and the wines from Hedonism Wines, you know you are in good hands.
We got to indulge in the Croque Monsieur when we visited, and were talking about it for days after.
We keep crossing our fingers that they will become a long-term tenant, or that the concept will move to a new location.
